Re: Sword of Truth
Fri, July 9, 2004 - 12:48 PMI loved this series, until Goodkind pulled a Robert Jordan on me. Now I'm nervous to get involved with anything longer than a trilogy.
Is it done, yet? -

Re: Sword of Truth
Fri, July 9, 2004 - 1:04 PM'fraid not. Naked Empire was good, but it didn't really go anywhere special. Sound familiar to anyone? I'm just glad Goodkind doesn't get as involved with too many characters. I was a little worried and pissed off with Pillars of Creation when Richard didn't appear unitl the last few pages. So while Goodkind isn't getting very far with the plot, he is staying pretty centralized with his characters. -

Re: Sword of Truth
Wed, July 28, 2004 - 2:07 PMI read most of them. Fun quick reads (although maybe a bit simplistic).
Just a reminder (as director of marketing for Tribe I feel compelled to ask...), as I know many folks in this tribe are always looking for recommendations on good Scifi/fantasy books, please be sure to use the recommendation/review feature so that your recs won't get lost (as sooner or later these discussions will get deleted). That way we can all search and find rec/reviews really easily. Thanks!!!

Re: Sword of Truth
Fri, April 1, 2005 - 2:26 PMHey..good to see this is still a live topic. I have read the entire series including debt of bones since the end of december. I read them back to back and Now I don't know what to do with myself until the next one comes out.
Now another question. Who is your favorite character? -

Re: Sword of Truth
Thu, April 14, 2005 - 1:48 PMYeah I really like Goodkind's theories about people. His way of using "Magician rules" to describe his personal theories about people. It feels really cynical and I like it. As for a favorite character . . . That is really hard. The characters are all intertwined with each other and without everyone the character development wouldn't work. If I had to choose I would probaly go with Zedd and Adie together. Together they are just too funny. But a close runner up would be Cara. She has changed loads but still keeps her prickely pride and arrogrance. -

Re: Sword of Truth
Sat, April 16, 2005 - 8:59 AMI would have to say Richard is my favorite character. I feel like I know him. He is so brave and noble but he is still as common as everyone else. I do have to say i am not the biggest fan of Kahlan. It seems like she is always trying to fix something she has broken. -

Re: Sword of Truth
Sat, April 16, 2005 - 9:08 PMDoes anyone know have a representation of the 8 pointed star that is used in the grace? I am looking into getting one for my next tattoo but not sure of it's dimensions. -

Re: Sword of Truth

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
