I liked Snape's redemption...I could believe that would be the reason for his changing sides so totally. And just before the book came out, when I read HBP it occurred to me that Dumbledor may have arranged for Snape to kill him so I felt a little vindicated. Naming his son after Sevrus? That stretched it a bit for me.
