dont sell the graphic novel short on fine literature&#xD;
they have their charm&#xD;

i am reading the Walking Dead GN right now&#xD;
it is zombie oriented if you are into that&#xD;
but i find it to be very character driven and situational&#xD;
i also like the  Preacher GNs &#xD;
very western in a modern setting&#xD;
with spiritual overtones, angels, demons, conspiracy&#xD;
very well written&#xD;
very character driven with a thick plot&#xD;
involving a gun toting preacher from texas ,&#xD;
his ex girlfriend, and a junkie vampire</summary>

try his novel "choke" or "lullaby" first&#xD;

as for vonnegut, if that is all you have read&#xD;
then you need to investigate further&#xD;
my favorite is "Cat's Cradle" &#xD;
but "Mother Night" and "Sirens of Titan" are great also&#xD;
&#xD;
we just saw Neil Gaiman's "Stardust" last night&#xD;
it was great except claire danes had trouble selling her monologue&#xD;
the book and the movie follow closely together&#xD;
i was very impressed&#xD;
That is one to put on your list when you read it&#xD;
and "The Sandman" graphic novel also by Gaiman</summary>
