I heard there is a new Jack Whyte book out. I think his are the best Arthurian novels out there. Has anyone read or heard about his latest?

If you think Jack Whyte is the best, try Mary Stewart's Merlin Trilogy

"The Crystal Cave", "The Hollow Hills", and "The Last Enchantment". Excellent story.

I've gotta say that Mary Stewart's "Crystal Cave" is the reason I became a fantasy fan, which grew into a degree in medieval history. What I love about Jack Whyte is the believability. It totally fits with the historical reality of the time, and his writing makes me feel like I could have been part of it. What it shares with Mary Stewart is that I take a serious break from reality because I can't put it down! Great taste in books, who else do you suggest for any fantasy? My other favorite author is Raymond Feist.
